Barcelona is a large place, sprawling out from the old city center,
just to the north of the Llobregat River. I personally did not see that
much of it, but Alissa, Jennifer and Brianna did. Greg and I tended to
shy away from there, unless we were forced to go, for one reason or
another. Any place with 16,000 people per square kilometer should be
prudently avoided, in my way of thinking. Our wives, on the other hand,
don't seem to mind rubbing elbows with its five million people.

When we returned from Spain, I tried to figure out where Alissa had been
while she, Jenn & Brianna were touring the city. We had hundreds of images
to sort through. Utilizing the Internet, I may have figured most of this out, but
just as well, I may have a few things wrong. At any rate, accurate or not, here
are some of the high points of Barcelona.

I've found a rather good number of websites for Barcelona tourism. Here is but
one for Poble Espanyol, the representative village for every region of Spain:
